The 4th bench was placed behind the Service/Training stone.

4th Bench

THIS BLANK STONE IS DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF ALL
CURRAHEES WHO DIED IN SERVICE AND TRAINING. THEIR
NAMES MAY BE LOST TO THE AGES, BUT THE SACRIFICE THEY
MADE IS REMEMBERED BY THOSE WHO SERVED WITH THEM.

Pedestal for "Destiny" Statue

"Destiny"
A 10-inch pedestal was placed under the bronze
"Destiny" statue. Artist Eugene Morelli wanted
this eagle to be higher than his bronze
"Majesty"
statue, so that it looked like the "Destiny" eagle
was coming in for a landing.

"Destiny"
Donald Thies (B Co, 2nd BN, 506th, 1970-1971)
donated both the bronze "Destiny" statue
and the additional 10-inch pedestal.
