The 32 KIAs during the 2008-2009 deployment to Afghanistan were honored. Fifteen of the soldiers were from the 4BCT, 506th based at
Fort Campbell, KY; one |
The Currahee Memorial Ceremony was attended by 4BCT active-duty
Currahees, Currahee veterans, and family members of KIA Currahee soldiers. |

of a Currahee KIA Memorial at Fort Campbell, which will honor the more than 1,400 Currahees killed in action in WWII, Vietnam, Afghanistan, and Iraq. |
