Carrying the flags for all the 506th Association ceremonies were

Korean War Memorial

Wreath-laying ceremony at the Korean War Memorial. During 1950-1953, the 506th was
activated at Camp Breckinridge, KY, to help train replacement troops for the Korean War.

Dalke and Houser

Carl Dalke (HQ, REGT, 506th PIR, 1944-1945) talks with Lucas Houser and a WWII Airborne Re-enactor.

Lucas Houser is from Des Moines, was in town, read about the 2004 Currahee Reunion, and dropped in
on the Currahee Picnic. Although the 506th colors and 506th soldiers from ROK are currently in Iraq,
Lucas is stationed at Fort Campbell, where he and a few other soldiers are assigned to the 4th Unit of Action,
506th, 101st Division
. Lucas had already served in Iraq with the 502nd, 101st Division, where he earned a
Purple Heart.

and manned by local 82nd/101st Division re-enactors Tom Clegg,
Dave Ruffcorn, Bob Hubert, Justin Aliss, and Darrek Orwig!
